Just to judge from Enzo's unfortunate claims that Stacy and the Lisa McPherson Trust are violent, coupled with the cult's ringleaders demanding that their cult followers will be kidnapped and forcefully deprogrammed by the Lisa McPherson Trust, it appears that the cult is _extremely_ frightened by what the LMT is actually all about. There _are_ serious threats to the cult's revenues involved directly and indirectly.
This isn't news to anybody here, I'm sure. Still, there are factors that haven't been publically discussed yet that perhaps shouldn't be discussed publically since it's possible the crooks haven't considered the full ramifications of having an organization like the Lisa McPherson Trust so close to the Ft. Homicide Hotel.
One arena is funding the Trust, and another is what I have more in mind than funding and I violate my own caution by mentioning it publically. This points out the lack of a secure forum for such discussions that should probably remain private.
Specifically, the Lisa McPherson Trust is in a good location to provide an extremely valuable service to the families of cult victims who have been ordered to "disconnect" from them. Family that is worried about the health and safety of their loved ones who have been ordered never to speak with them can provide the LMT with photographs of their loved ones and the LMT can at least either indicate that they've seen them and provide whatever details they may have, or can be on the look out for any of these loved ones informally.
I think that this would be an invaluable service that the Lisa McPherson Trust could provide to family members and to cult followers who have been ordered never to see or talk with their family. Family that don't even know where their loved ones are being held could appeal to the LMT for help in locating them. Once positivly identified as a "disconnected" cult follower, the family could come to Clearwater once they learn that they've been sent to "flag," and attempt to contact their lost family member.
Again, I seriously doubt whether the ringleaders of this cult thought about this threat. Now they know. Yet every time a "disconnect" is reconnected with his or her family -- no metter if for only a few seconds -- it can only help tio allieviate the family's fears somewhat.
Imagine how valuable such a service would be at Hemet or Los Angeles.
Helping families find their loved ones so that they can try to regain contact is a solidly beneficial activity that the crooks couldn't hope to explain-away with claims of violence -- like this Enzo creep was ordered to.
