>Do you have any names to go with the scientologists?
The idiot yelling through cupped hands was Ian Shillington (he tells people that he's a doctor but we've never substantiated that). He came the next day to the door of the LMT to scream the same inane lunacy and later carried signs that said GO HOME NAZI's. He's a flamer of the highest order. He definitely got the award for Freak of the Week!
The rest of his gang of ill mannered hooligans are members of the "esteemed clams" known as the OT committee.
Some of those members that came to the airport as well as picketed the LMT with Nazi go home signs were: Sandy Adair, Dan Sigal, Dennis Clark, Penny Jones, Andrea Anniskevich(not sure of spelling). Of course the airport crowd was orchestrated by Al Buttnor.
Also, there were a few children brought to the airport as well as the NAZI picket to carry Nazi signs and trained to yell Nazi's go home..... REPRENSIBLE
What a church <spit>

The scoop from one who was there:
Bob wasn't assaulted, not seriously anyway...local radio a.m. talk show host/clam spokesmouth Dennis Clark arrived, bumped and pushed him around, Bob was polite and just let him pass by. He then strolled the sidewalk, bumping and intimidating (he is a LARGE dude). He stomped on Mark's toe, and stuck gum on his camera. He then assaulted me, tho I didn't file a report or charges (want to stay a mystery SP, ya know). He grabbed my arm and scratched it a little, pushed me with his elbow and tried to make me drop my camera. Mark and some others did file reports with CWPD, who were really cool to us all. I got his assault on Mark on camera, he has the gum incident and some bumping of Bob, which I am sure will be up soon...
The clams were already counter-protesting, they sounded eerily like the night before...in fact, some of them were the same people who were at the airport when Ursula arrived. Oh, how do I know? I was "camera 2."
They then spent a couple hours, about 20 or 30 of them, parading around the LMT and singing, and also chanting "Nazi go home" and the like. Big Fun.
My first appearance on ARS, an officially declared SP...and moving up the levels, I am sure...M

One thing that's worth noting here is that McCabe's letter is dated July 20, meaning that there is reason to suspect that it was a contributing factor to the decision of the "Church" to escalate the level of violence in Clearwater, as demonstrated by the Dennis Clarke incident(s). Given that he was willing to roll over and play dead in the face of an assault with a deadly weapon, it's hard to imagine him pressing charges against Clarke for "mere" assault. And so the cycle will escalate once again.
It sounds to me from afar as if McCabe has put into motion a career-ending chain of events that may well result in federal marshals taking over policing Clearwater. One unprosecuted assault with racketeering undercurrents is a fluke. Two is a coincidence. Once the third and fourth assaults are videotaped and left unprosecuted, it's going to make the major media, and someone at the federal level is going to smell a chance to come down and put the boot in. And in the post-Battlefield Earth, post-XenuTV 21st century, Sailor Dave just doesn't have the batallions to hold off the feds.
If Scientologists weren't such incompetent whingeing cowards, I'd worry about another Waco. Nevertheless, I just hope and pray that no one at the Lisa Trust gets too seriously hurt in the process.
